On this page you may find content about my faith, what I believe, and know to be true. How I strive to live my life, as well as more of my values, and ethics. The purpose of this page is to allow those who wish to know more about my faith, the ability to do so. While I believe that my actions should always speak louder than my words, here you may find access to my thoughts and feelings regarding my faith. While I am always happy to discuss such things in person, I recognize that doing so may be uncomfortable for some. I also hope to provide a glimpse into who I am for any who wish to know me more.

“Preach the gospel at all times and if necessary, use words.”

- Attributed to St. Francis of Assisi

“Truth has drawn me into the field of politics; and I can say without the slightest hesitation, and yet in all humility, that those who say religion has nothing to do with politics do not know what religion means.”

- Mahatma Gandhi

“Speak only if it improves upon the silence”

- Mahatma Gandhi

“Don’t talk about it. The rose doesn’t have to propogate its perfume. It just gives it forth, and people are drawn to it. Live it, and people will come to see the source of your power.”

- Mahatma Gandhi

About Me

I am a disciple of Christ. I live my life trying my best to follow His teachings and His example. I do not claim to be perfect at this, but that is not what a disciple of Christ is.

I believe that greater happiness is found in learning to sacrifice my will for His. I know that death is not the end. I know that through Jesus Christ there is always hope for a better future and a better life to come.

I know my Savior lives! He suffered for our sins, taking upon himself our infirmities, our sicknesses, our pains, and our afflictions. He overcame death through the resurrection. Because of Him we will all live again. Because of Him, we may all live with Him, if we will hear Him and follow Him! He is my Savior and your Savior, having given an infinite sacrifice for all, yet He suffered personally for each of us, individually. In this way He knows, us and He loves us!
During these turbulent times with so much uncertainty and anxiety throughout the world, I testify that He is a God of miracles, just as in times of old. He is not dead, but He has overcome death. He has all power in Heaven and on earth. He is merciful, loving, forgiving, patient, and long-suffering. I bear witness that He lives!
John wrote: “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.” (John 20:31) I invite you to come and hear Him.
Come and partake of the love He has freely given you.

Forgiveness

With so much of the world focused on hate and anger, it can be difficult at times to remember the Godly attribute of forgiveness. How can we focus on forgiveness when everything seems to be focused on anger and hate? (Read More here)
On this special day, I wish to recognize my Lord and my God, who has redeemed me and given me life and meaning. “For a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth” (Luke 12: 15). What do our lives consist of? How will our lives be measured? (read here for more)
